Would you believe that the ShopRite supermarket in Greenwich Township has refused to make a cake for this cute kid’s birthday.
According to this article on the lehighvalleylive.com website, ShopRite refused to make a cake for the three year old because he was named after Adolf Hitler.
To quote ShopRite:”We believe the request … to inscribe a birthday wish to Adolf Hitler is inappropriate.”
Others, such as Anti-Defamation League director Barry Morrison, applauded Shop Rite’s decision.
“Might as well put a sign around their (the children’s) neck that says bigot, racist, hatemonger,” said Morrison. “What’s the difference?”
Heath and Deborah Campbel have three children named, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell and Adolf Hitler Campbell. Obviously the parents are bigots and will undoubtedly raise their children to believe as they believe.
But could we just think about this for a minute:
We’re talking about a three year old for God’s sake. It’s not like he chose his name, he was given it by his parents.
And now even the anti-defamation league gets involved??? —Talk about overreacting.
