Here in Las Vegas we have a lot of casinos and a lot of cash so there is bound to be the occasional robbery.

–But this guy sets some kind of record for dumb.–

The suspect evidently caused enough of a ruckus at the Golden Nugget that security escorted him off property. He then trotted across the street to the Fitzgerald’s Hotel and Casino and robbed the joint by handing the person in the cage a note that said it was a robbery and it was not a joke.

He got some $5300 in cash, ran out of the casino, got in a taxi and left. -Yes you heard right. He hailed a cab to make his getaway.

I hope he at least gave the driver a really big tip.
